Ingredientes

Preparación

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Peel the apio with a knife (the skin is thin and yellowish) and keep it in water so it doesn't darken.
  2. Boil it in water with half the salt 15 to 20 minutes, until it falls apart when pierced. Don't overcook it or it gets watery.
  3. Drain very well.
  4. Melt the butter with the garlic 1 minute and mash it with the apio, milk, the rest of the salt and the pepper.
  5. Serve hot with carne guisada or bistec encebollado. Apio tastes like a cross of potato, carrot and celery.
