Ingredientes

Preparación

Desmolde.

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Boil the peeled calabaza in chunks 15–20 minutes, until soft. Drain very well (leaving it in the colander 10 minutes prevents a watery flan) and mash.
  2. Heat the oven to 350°F. Make the caramel with the sugar and coat the bottom of a flan mold.
  3. Blend the cream cheese with the condensed milk until smooth. Add the calabaza, evaporated milk, eggs, vanilla and spices, and blend. Strain.
  4. Pour over the caramel and bake in a water bath 1 hour 10 minutes, until a knife comes out clean.
  5. Cool and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight: the cream cheese needs that time to slice cleanly. Unmold.
