Ingredientes

Time: 1 h · Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 2½ pounds chicken wings, split
- 1 tablespoon adobo
- 8 oz guava paste, cubed
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- ¼ cup water
Preparation
- Heat the oven to 425°F. Season the wings and set them on a rack over a lined tray.
- Bake 40 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and 165°F inside.
- Meanwhile, melt the guava paste with the water over low heat. Add the tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire and garlic and cook 10 minutes, until thick.
- Toss the hot wings with half the sauce and bake 5 more minutes to glaze.
- Serve with the rest of the sauce on the side.
- Grill tip: wings over indirect heat at 350–400°F for 35–45 minutes, turning once, then 2–3 minutes direct to crisp. They're safe at 165°F but better at 175–190°F: the collagen softens and the skin crisps. The sauce goes on at the end.
